Research Genre Production.
This outcome's goal is for students to be able to produce writing that shows how they can work within the constraints of various academic and/or public research genres that are significant to particular groups.
Field Issue & Rationale Task
To complete the assignment, students had to list three texts and three non-text artifacts that were connected to the field investigation's topic. Following the selection of the artifacts, students were asked to evaluate each one briefly before selecting one from each genre for the comparison essay ( project 2)
Project 3 proposal
This assignment aims to help students develop their ability to produce written works that fit the norms and expectations of different research genres, whether for academic or public purposes. Students must select three genres that fit their research topic and explain how each genre relates to it, listing at least three conventions of each genre. They must then provide an initial plan for each genre, including the necessary materials, time needed, and potential obstacles they may encounter in the process of creating the final product. This assignment provides practical experience for students in producing written works that effectively convey their research topic to their intended audience.
